Avo runs on Google Workspace for email, docs, and calendar, with Calendar API integrations for demo booking.
HOW WE USE IT
Google Workspace is Avo's operating environment. Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Docs handle day-to-day communication, scheduling, and documentation across all projects. The primary integration point exposed to external systems is Google Calendar through the Calendar API.
The demo booking flow works as follows: a prospect fills out the start-a-project form, selects a time slot from an embedded availability picker, and the Calendar API creates the event on the Avo calendar with the prospect's details in the description. A confirmation email fires via Resend. No third-party scheduling tool sits in the middle.
For cold email infrastructure, Google Workspace inboxes provide the highest deliverability of any email provider option evaluated. The inbox placement rate for Google Workspace is 92 to 95 percent versus 85 to 90 percent for custom SMTP. Avo's outreach infrastructure routes sends through Workspace-hosted inboxes for this reason.
The plan is to purchase 25 to 30 Google Workspace inboxes dedicated to outreach, each warmed up over 20 to 25 days before cold sends begin. This is a deliberate investment: one $15,000 project pays for multiple years of inbox costs at scale.
